On Sunday it was a beautiful day in Lerwick. After work i went for a walk as there was a massive cruise boat at anchor. This means a whole load of tourists cutting about and make for some great street photography opportunities

. Unfortunately but the time I was done with work most of the Americans were back on the boat. But I spotted some of the crew from the cruise that looked great one in particular called Marie.

She had the best hair that I have ever seen so I asked if it was possible to have a portrait, she was happy to help out. And took my Instagram handle so she could find the photo when she got off from work.

I then got talking to a couple from Bolton. They were enjoying there ice creams and made for some great street photos. I asked if they would like a portrait done as well and after a bit of thought they posed in front of the harbour.

On Monday Angela and I decided to go to Bressay. I have been trying to get there for a while. I came across a small loch with a “unsinkable” boat. We stopped and spent a little taking some shots there. I was happy with a good few of them. We then moved on to the light out a the south end of the island. Built over 140 years ago there was some great photos to be had.

And walking up the hill towards the “Giants Leg” the photos looking back were super. We then headed over to the old abandoned houses, they were covered in lichen and had loads of character. We must have been exploring for around 30minutes and got loads of shots all with masses of texture.

Then it was time to head home on the ferry to get the photos on to the computer and get them sorted editied and published.
