Welcome to my first ever blog post. I am not 100% sure what i should be writing about so i thought that i would tell of my adventures, in Shetland mostly, of taking photos and the places that go and things i find to shoot. I will include some of the photos that i take across the week.

On Sunday night after a long week at work the sun was shining and i was feeling good so i thought that i would have a trek around Lerwick to see if there was anything i could find to capture. there was two small cruise boats in but you had to hgave a pass to get close to them and as i did not then no luck there but there was a whole host of diffrent boats in the harbour and one in particular stood out. Its figure head was looked great and i thought took a good photo.

Lerwick has many lanes and they all have diffrent qualities. I have found them difficalt to photograph in the past but i was very happy with this one that i go of Pitt Lane. you can see the BBC into the right hand side.

Then i came across this house number and sign covered in ivy it was like something out a movie i was drawento it straight way and I love the photo that took using my 35mm prime lens

On Monday I took a trip to Westerwick it is about 35 min from Lerwick with some of the nicest roads in Shetland heading west. i pulled up and had a mooch about an old abandoned house and then walked over to the cliffs. what a place with stacks cliffs and raging seas. the clouds were rerally fantastic with changeable weather they were moving fast. On the way home i stopped in at Reawick Kirk and got some photos.

I think that will do me for my first post. I will be looking to update as regulary as posible. so keep your eyes peeled of more of Shetland to come
